Greetings:
I am Jim Malloch running for the Hampton Park HOA/POA Board as a write-in candidate. I would appreciate it if you would review my application and qualifications attached for board consideration prior to the community meeting and vote on Tuesday May 14, 2024, and consider a write-in vote for me.
I have lived here for 3 years in 316, Lot 1, the first house on the left entering Hampton Park. We have two seats available on the board to be filled by the present board members running again for their seats or to be filled by new candidates such as myself or Kenny Johnston.
After two years I feel the board needs some new members, guidance, leadership, management, and community visibility. I have many years of civic experience and responsibility to add to our HOA Board and I would appreciate your consideration for a write in vote.
Each house has two (2) votes, I would appreciate yours for a better community of interaction and togetherness. The choice is yours, renew and select the same board members or vote for a change of membership with a different outlook? I am prior Military and Government; Mr. Johnston is prior Law Enforcement please consider us both to add new membership and insight to our board.
Either way you vote, I am here to support our board and add to this beautiful and unique community neighborhood of 80 homes and families in any way I and my wife Wanda can!

EDUCATION: HS, AA Gen Ed University of Phoenix, BA Human Resources Management St Leo University (Tampa) Extension Campus Key West, MA Organizational Management, University of Phoenix (UOP) Online, DBM Dr. of Business Management UOP, 2 years study toward Online
CERTIFICATIONS: Certified Public Manager (CPM) 2 yrs. Study Florida State, FSU, /Certified Project Manager (PMP), 2 yr. study and national examination, / Personal Excellence Professional (PEP)
EXPERIENCE: Community Services Director Florida Keys, / Managed 2000 Units Navy Housing Charleston, SC, /Presently Board Secretary My Condominium Association HOA Surfside Beach, / Previous Contracts Administrator Construction experience MB / previous Chairman of Miami-Dade-Monroe Counties 30-member Workforce Board, fiduciary responsibility of $ 100 million dollars in Federal and Florida state funds/ Management Consultant for Navy and Civilian Organizations improvement nationwide. / Active in numerous local organizations working for charitable causes.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I want to serve on our Board because I feel it needs new and different leadership and management abilities. It has done well with fiduciary responsibilities, and I commend the HOA Board.! However, it is my perception and of others in our community that the board needs to change to be more inclusive, visible, available, and open to community input. Other HOA Board communities we have lived in managed by Waccamaw Management have had boards much more visible, approachable, and appreciative of community inputs? I have the time and experience to make our board and community better.
I feel that I have the people skills, management skills, and financial contracts experience to be an asset and contribute to a new board and community representation. The community now is divided somewhat, and I want to bring back those things to make our unique 80 home community more fun and special and a great place to live in while keeping costs down. Two seats are now up for renewal on the board, I think it is time to rotate two new managers and thinkers on to the HOA Board!
Please consider me as a write in vote to the board. I want everyone in Hampton Park to know their Board members by sight and name and have one sheet listing all Members, Positions, Addresses, Email addresses, and Contact numbers and who to contact
